Heba and Yaqeen, age 18, study together for the final exams in Yaqeen's living room. Yaqeen and Heba live in the neighborhood of Almashrou al-Hadba in southern Tripoli. They use to study at al-Mashrou school but had to move to another school to continue their studies. When the war erupted on the 4th of April in 2019, their school became a frontline battlefield of southern Tripoli. Heba and Yaqeen were forced to leave their homes under the threat of the bomb shells.  (Photo by Nada Harib for The Washington Post)
